Superhuman Error!

At the end of the day, when we talk of superinvestors, we essentially are talking about human being with above average emotional and intelligence quotient. And as we know that human element is almost always susceptible to errors. One such error was recently made by Warren Buffett. The most successful value investor admitted that the investment in UK retail giant, Tesco was a “huge mistake”. He recently reduced his holding below 3% from more than 5% couple of months ago.

Like any other learning experience, this failure also teaches us some valuable lessons when making investment decisions.

1. It is good to follow the investment of the superinvestors but not always. Always do you own research. There is no other person in this world than you, who can manage your money better.

2. As soon as you have slightest element of doubt about work ethics of a company, GET OUT!

Tesco... will be remembered...
